More “Since We Know You Won’t Say Something Nice We Hope You Won’t Say Anything at All”

Paul Krugman has been making sense on the whole civility/smarm issue in current discourse. It’s one of those matters, if you’re smart, you accept and avoid. But I ain’t that smart and think it has an increasingly destructive, corrosive effect on society and understanding hereabouts.
