Two down notes:
The ads during TV coverage now are so thick and intrusive it’s beyond offensive.
I’ve never understood the start-drinkin’-in-the-morning aspect of Marathon Day (though I was more amused by it as a partyin’ youth), but I notice that after a couple of years of more-sober reflection, it’s back all the way. (Local liquor store advertising it will be open at 8 AM.)
