Belated Recognition for the Late Donald W. Duncan

Hard to explain how intense it was after the end of the war: if we don’t talk about Viet Nam, it never happened.

I remember Mr. Duncan, but people just could not believe what he said was going on in ‘Nam. By the time I was old enough to know vets and know it was all horribly true, the US was out of there and the war was winding down to the South collapsing. I hadn’t thought about Duncan in many years. Thank goodness recent attention paid to Daniel Berrigan and Ramparts garnered him the tribute he deserved. Farewell.
