Baseball Done, Let’s Eat Grandma and Big Green Egg Underway

First time using actual Big Green Egg hardwood charcoal. Pro: seems a bit easier to ignite and control than Nature’s Own brand. Cons: has stick-shaped pieces which I don’t like and seems to flame more which means burns faster. Supposed to be some showers around the time I’ll be finishing up. Don’t give a care.

PS: Garlic scapes are a particular feature for a couple weeks this time of year. Surprisingly delicious when grilled with smoke. This year esp. in honor of my mother-in-law, who loves them.
