Stuff in the Air That Came Out of Speakers Today #46

On a rare-vinyl kick (which includes delectable LP covers).

First up is my oldest Celia Cruz album (1965, France). I love Celia Cruz, bet I have 20 LPs by her. This is a very sweet singles compilation. Recommended.

Next is Joanne Brackeen’s 1975 debut, Snooze (I also love Brackeen, though I probably have only 8 or 9 LPs from her). Here’s the info.

Quite the rhythm section, huh? “Strangely accessible,” hell — it’s pure pleasure from start to finish. Catchy, sensuous, deep with thought .. wowsers.
