Daylight Sucking Time

I’ll say it again: just when you’re getting really depressed in the late autumn, the sun is decreed to go down in the middle of the afternoon; just when you’re developing a glimmer of hope for happiness, you’re forced to get up in the dark again.

I still favor moving the clock a half-hour ahead of where it is now and calling it square for all, uh, time. This seems like an extreme idea to me. (Is he truly serious? Maybe not. Invoking Zulu Time is certainly not very persuasive. Commercial airline personnel have special chronological circumstances.)
